God’s grace can break bondages, but God’s grace cannot make decisions for you.
- So many people are waiting for God to do what God has told them to do! God’s grace makes it available, but it is our decision to take it.
- James 4:7-8 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
When you think you hear God’s voice or sense His direction you must take the risk and obey. It is the only way that you will begin to recognize His voice or prompting,
- Start with being faithful in small decisions… Luke 19:17, 26
- Fear of the loss of an opportunity may cause us to make wrong choices… be careful!
- Remember that courage is for the moment; but regret is for a lifetime. Always do the right thing. It will pay-off in the end.
- “God said it, I believe it, that settles it.” The truth is that if God said it that should settle it for you, whether you believe it or not. God can be trusted.
